Sqn Ldr Bhushan Narang – RIP

Bhushan 1

That smile will never be forgotten or erased from our memories. It says everything about Bhushan – why he was so loved, admired, generous to a fault, a friend one could totally rely on and above all a devoted husband, father and family person.

He went as he lived, in a flash, and has left behind a heap of memories and anecdotes to remember him by. As I got to the comp and checked the mail, my heart skipped a beat – a mail from Bhushan in the MarutFans Group. As expected it was a joke. A joke that  unfortunately one could not appreciate as his name stayed imprinted on the mind.

Too shell shocked to write anymore.

To Rita, Pritika and Rahul. We feel your grief and are a part of it. Hopefully that thought will give you strength to bear this terrible loss. You are and will always be a part of us.

Rest in peace Bhushan. You brought happiness to many. Now we cherish memories and the thought that you were our friend and always brightened our lives with your presense.

I am shocked to learn of Bhushan’s untimely demise. Neena and I considered him to be a very dear friend who spread so much cheer and joie de vivre. Distance has not allowed us to enjoy his and his family’s friendship as much as we would have liked to. The only solace is that Bhushan lived life to the full till the last possible moment. My daughter Sonya and son Anand join me in conveying our heartfelt condolences to Rita, Pritika and Rahul.

    My dear Dara,
I am shocked to hear the sudden and untimely demise of our dear Bhushan
Recent meet at Sun & Sand Pune brought me closer to him after Golden Jublee celebration at B’lore which he organised very well. When I proposed a MARUT get together at my 90 and asked Bhushan to help me out at Bangalore …he readily agreed and said aloud in the party….WHY NOT NEXT YEAR as well and true to his word ,started organising for the next meet. Alas we all lost him…..his ever smiling face with a very positive approach to life , is really an example to follow.
May his soul rest in Peace….

My heart felt condolences to his wife and family members and pray they recover soon from this great tragedy in their family.

Bhushan Sir You were one of a kind. Your last joke on Mushrooms uncannily dealt with a death though in a jovial way, which is the way you will be cherished. Rest in peace. Deepest condolences to the family

What a total shock, Dara sir!!

Wonderful, wonderful senior of ours …have seen the cool way in which he more or less single-handedly planned and executed our Golden Jubilee celebrations here in Bengaluru …made it all appear so easy-peasy …

May his soul find peace …
